On February 17th at the luxurious Grand Atrium 200 Peachtree, Bangkok Fight Night is starting to stack a guaranteed action packed fight card.
In the main event, Atlanta Muay Thai star, Chike Lindsay, goes toe to toe with his toughest test as he faces New York’s top talent, the hard hitting Eddie Martinez. In the co-main event, prepare for a clash of the champions as Eddie Walker and Matt Callahan put their reputations on the line as two of Atlanta’s top Muay Thai fighters settle once and for all who is the top Light Heavyweight. In an MMA showdown striking specialist Stephen “Advantage” Upchurch prepares to go toe to toe with the explosive and dynamic George Hickman. Also in the lineup is current GFC Amateur Heavyweight Champion Dexter “Bolo” Carthon “Bolo” Carthan who is set to take on Corey Clark in a grudge rematch. Last year Carthon capture the then vacant title by scoring a unanimous decision victory over Clark. On October 1st , the Masquerade Music Park hosted another talent filled MMA card for the Atlanta Fight Community. Undefeated Marius Cujba faced John Cofer for the Fight Party Lightweight Title in a CIRCULAR STEEL CAGE. Cujba had never lost. Cofer is representing the world-famous Hardcore Gym that brought you Forrest Griffin and Brian Bowles. Also, undefeated Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson will made his Atlanta debut against Patrick “Pat le Chat” Mandio. Georgia Boxing Championships - July 15th
ATLANTA, GA - Sports Fan Properties Shea Bailey Promotions is proud to announce that the Buckhead Theatre will serve as the host venue for the next installment of the Georgia Boxing Championship, which is set to take place on July 15, 2011. The Buckhead Theatre (formerly The Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre) which re-opened in July of 2010 following a two-year, $6 million renovation now boasts an 8,000 square-foot main theatre room with capacity of more than 1,200 and will provide boxing fans with an intimate and unique setting unlike any other in professional boxing. The Buckhead Saloon, which is located just a couple hundred feet from the Theatre and will host the official After Party.

Sandy Springs, GA May 9, 2011 - UFC Light Heavyweight Fighter Brandon "The Truth" Vera hosted a 3 hour clinic at the Knuckle Up Fitness Gym in Sandy Springs, GA . The clinic included drills and techniques Vera has accumulated through the years in WEC and the UFC. Participant's were granted a rare chance to work side by side with Brandon and benifiting from his experience. Atlanta was the first stop of a nationwide tour, along with his wife, Strikeforce fighter Kerry Vera. He was very excited to be working with the various gyms and training centers getting to meet and workout with his fans. The next stop of the nationwide training tour will be Myrtle Beach, SC.

The heavyweight belt holder will be further known as “The Randy Couture TUFF-N-UFF Heavyweight Champion.” A championship belt with Couture’s name will also be made in his honor. This event will take place Friday, July 1, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas.
